Taiwan Restaurant - Grand Falls-Windsor

The vegetable noodle plate 90% noodles. Enough to feed a family of four. The vegetables are 90% onions. The sweet and sour chicken is half a plate of rice with six chicken balls that have a little red sauce on them. The chicken tasted fine, but sweet and sour chicken typically has peppers, onions, maybe pineapple with it. Expensive for what you got. Bypass.

Good food and friendly service and atmosphere. Comfortable setting. Reasonably priced. Buffet only during weekdays not on weekend

We were attracted by the sign advertising a Chinese Buffet. The restaurant was very busy and the servers were friendly. However, there was only a limited selection of standard Chinese dishes. Most travelers from Central Canada would be disappointed.

Food very fresh. Good variety. Very tasty. Also the evening buffet is good. Price very reasonable and plentiful.

This was the first chinese restaurant my parents and I went to since we arrived on the island. Coming from an asian country and having lived in big cities like Vancouver and Toronto, i have to say i was not expecting much from this restaurant when we went in. To my surprise, I thought the food was really good and had authentic flavour to it. Definitely not the chicken balls/sweet and sour pork kind of place. Unfortunately, the decor and the atmosphere inside the restaurant failed to give us a sense of comfort, but rather dark and dirty.
