The waitress who brought the food outside to me was very kind ..helpful. The pickup process was easy, timely safe. I would definitely recommend ordering from Midori. The restaurant is a very cute option too when that reopens. Can’t wait to order again!
Family enjoyed excellent service, food, at a relaxed pace on the patio. Will definitely return again and recommend highly as a meal destination.
Ordered a crab dip, pad Thai and a Vesuvius roll to share with my husband. Crab dip was fine, but pad Thai was extremely bland- rice noodles, small amount of egg and some shredded carrot. Sauce was unremarkable. If we hadn’t paid the extra to...add shrimp it would have been even more disappointing. Vesuvius roll was extremely dry. The description states “overflowing with cream cheese”, but as evidenced by my photo below, there was nothing overflowing about it. I struggled to identify any cream cheese at all in the entire roll. It was basically plain crab stick and rice. I’ve had better grocery store sushi. Would not go back.
Quiet is a nice complement for Grand Bend. Popular with locals, it fills up. Ambience that’s doesn’t say BEACH. A beautiful patio ... quiet. The Dynamite sushi was beautiful. The California roll was very good. The curry plate ... another day....Q-Trip: Wine for the glass needs an upgrade but the craft beer choices were phenomenal. As was the service Rachel. Q-Trip: Parking fines are stiff till 5.
We have eaten here several times in the course of the years on our annual visit in the opposite. eating is delicious. the drinks are great. they host gluten-free (they actually have gf tamari and vegetarian (and non-sushi lovers) good. it is often not “classical” sushi, but I like that. the sesam mayonnaise is fabulous. the gluten-free tempura was so crispy divine. they season the edamam with garlic, sesame, salt and limette. so good. the personal is friendly and sincere. like most restaurants in these days, they seemed to be short workers. our appetizers took a long time, but after asking, they came quickly and with many effusive excuses and a round drink. I think they were wise to keep the menu limited for a sushi restaurant relatiw to do what that really does. I also appreciate the small touches such as sturdy paper straws, reusable chiffels and bambusskewers for drinks. I wish this restaurant would be closer to home. it would be my “go-to” place
