Dave's Pub & Grill - Grand Bend

Made a reservation for an outside table. Got sat inside. Service was slow as it was understaffed. Food was okay for some dishes very poor for others. Place closed early both nights we were there. Tried to get pizza at 930pm but kitchen was closed. Tried to get in at 10pm for a nightcap. There were people inside and three couples trying to get in but doors were locked. Don't go. Not really worth it considering it was understaffed very average food and basically closes way too early for resort guests who are looking to spend an hour or two after putting the kids to bed.

Always leary of golf course pubs but was pleasantly surprised. A full menu with more than pub food. Our table of 4 were very happy with their selections. 2 piece fish and chips was more than enough for a friend who had a big appetite. The nachos were full of cheese from top to bottom with a beef topping that was very tasty. The turkey burger was also tasty. The prices were very reasonable and the service was good and friendly. A must if you're in the area. We will be returning.

Great prices for an onsite golf course pub...very affordable. Staff was very playful with our group and didn't mind getting into some trouble with us.I think they stayed open an extra 30 minutes on a Tuesday for us.dinner was really good - try the fried pickles...they are pretty good.

We received fantastic service and great recommendations from the wait staff. We grabbed a high top table near the bar to soak up the atmosphere of this sports-themed pub. We had a sandwich and flatbread both of which were very good, and the fresh cut fries were simply amazing! I would definitely consider a return visit during my next trip to Grand Bend.

My husband and I golfed and stayed at Oakwood Resorts, while there we had lunch and dinner at Dave's Pub & Grill. We had Mandy as our server for lunch and she was awesome. Chatted with her and really liked her spirit. We went back for dinner hoping she would still be there and she was so we requested her section. She stayed over to wait on us and had a fun time. Best server ever!!!
