Potenza Pizza - Grand Bank

We enjoy this restaurant very muchAfter a long week we drive out to Grand Marais and don't want to cook so it is off to Potenza for pizza and wine.

I've been here a few times now and have always have excellent pizza and service.

Excellent service, food was made fresh, beer was cold, music was nostalgic & enjoyable, if you are visiting Grand Beach you need to try this establishment, Italian dishes are made fresh, if it takes a little longer don't panic order another beverage & relax you are at the beach...

For such a slow evening I'm surprised at how long everything took! We waited 15 minutes just to get menus, it didn't look like any specific waitress was in charge of the dining room, my friend's pizza came out by the time everyone else was done eating. It shouldn't take 1.5hrs from when customers come in to them getting their food on a slow night. Food was pretty bland and disappointing from all the hype I've heard. Not to mention on a cold evening having the doors open in the bar only to allow cigarette smoke to waft in all the way into the dining area. It doesn't look so great when the owner is drinking right outside of the front door and waitresses are more focussed on visiting and fooling around than checking on tables.We won't be dining here again, which is a shame because it is so close to our cabin

Is superb, we always get the Potenza Special large and take home leftovers which are yummy ! we think this pizza is the best ! we always attend opening and closing weekends and as often as possible in between ! great service, fabulous pizza and sandwiches and cheese garlic bread sticks, and AMAZING music on weekends. If you're out Grand Beach way, don't miss this place !
