Przekaż informację zwrotnąSuperU is a large-scale store where only a fraction of the products are vegan. However, there are so many of them that it is worth going. Unfortunately, the products are spread out in different places. Yes, there is a category bio in which almost everything is available, but these products are significantly more expensive. Vegan products can also be found near dedicated shelves for milk, cheese, meat and frozen foods. There 's no problem even getting beyond meat. In the same building as SuperU there are two cafes, both of which you can order a coffee with plant milk. More visible and worse is Artisan. I would recommend tiny Dodo Cafe much more.
This supermarket in Mauritius is one of the best places to find vegan food. While they don't have a separate vegan section, they have a good range of products scattered throughout the store. In the freezer section, you can find faux meats like burgers, chickn, and sausages. The fridge near the veggies also has a selection of Violife cheezes and faux chickn deli-style slices. Make sure to visit the Bio section for handmade local vegan sweet treats, including amazing snickers-style bars. It's definitely worth the price.
The restaurant offers a variety of options including cheese, meat, milk alternatives, vegan tortellini, vegan chocolate spread, and cookies. Additionally, they offer a selection of organic products.
This is a very large supermarket in Mauritius. They offer a wide variety of vegan options, including items in the bakery section. Be sure to try the vegan peanut butter balls - while they may be a bit expensive, they are incredibly tasty.
Superu is a large establishment with a variety of vegan products available, although they are only a fraction of their overall selection. Despite the wide range of options, the products are scattered throughout the store which can be inconvenient. The organic category offers a good selection, although at a higher price point. Vegan items are also integrated within non-vegan sections such as milk, cheese, meat, and frozen foods. Fortunately, there are no issues with meat products in close proximity to vegan items. Adjacent to Superu, there are two cafes where plant-based milk can be requested for coffee. The artisan cafe is less appealing compared to the more visible Little Dodo Cafe, which I would recommend visiting instead.
