Maverick's Grille - Granby

I lost my appetite as soon as the waitress led us to our table wearing blue gloves. I observed her handling dirty plates, serving food, filling our waters, placing her hand over the tops of our glasses, and taking our order—all while wearing the SAME pair of gloves. The restaurant itself also seemed outdated and somewhat unclean. To make matters worse, she was unaware of the special, and her overall appearance was unappealing. The first ten minutes left such a negative impression that my party decided to leave and find another place for dinner. It's important that gloves are used properly—constantly changing them and practicing hand hygiene in between uses is essential.

The environment was pretty dismal. I ordered a French dip and the meat was really gross. Almost tasted rubbery. I took two bites and didn't bother to finish any of it. Fantastic food and excellent service! The staff was incredibly friendly. I really enjoyed the breakfast burger special, and the fried pickles were massive! The restaurant had a wonderful family atmosphere, and our waiter, Levi, was attentive to our needs. I would definitely return whenever I'm in town. The side salad was a generous portion, almost like a meal in itself. Kid-friendliness: It's very family-oriented, with children happily playing on the patio. Service: Dine-in.
