The blend of Scottish and English cuisine was delightful the Scotch eggs were amazing, and the orange mango juice was a refreshing pairing. The orange chocolate pie was the perfect finish. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning!
The Fat Cat Cafe used to be in Grand Lake years ago and my wife and I enjoyed going to it when it was there, but then it closed. We were delighted to learn from the Western Riviera in Grand Lake that the Fat Cat had simply moved to Granby (which we didn't know) for more consistent business year-round. We remembered the owner from the Grand Lake days. She is still there. She makes the Fat Cat a memorable place to eat along with the decor. Some whimsy to it and we like it. We stopped in for breakfast on our way home. I seem to recall I had one of the omelets with I *think* mushrooms, bacon, and cheese as my three ingredients. It was very good, very flavorful. For one of the sides I selected, I *think* it came with a mini cinnamon roll. I believe my wife had the Huevos Rancheros and enjoyed her dish as well. The coffee brand was not my favorite, but it was okay. We will be back when in or passing through Granby. We really like this place. Kid-friendliness: It is kid friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: It is all on one level so I believe it is wheelchair accessible.
Buffet breakfast for 2 was $55. Hot food such as quiche, French toast, potatoes, and scrambled eggs were all cold. Owner and waiter checked on everyone else except us. Husband mentioned the cold food and all they said was sorry. We would not return here.
Breakfast buffet is delicious and everything is made fresh, in house. Everyone that works here is so friendly too. HIGHLY recommend swinging in here while in Granby!
A bit run down. Breakfast was tasteless. My huevos rancheros were 90% potatoes.
