Deep Roots Street Food - Granby

Would always order the Bahn Mi when it came with pork by default. It is now an extra $4 to add protein, almost $20 after tax for a pretty simple sandwich and chips.Quality is still great, and menu includes unique foods for Granby.

We were in the area visiting the Air Museum and googled nearby places for lunch… so glad this place came up on our search! We stopped by for lunch and ice cream. The falafel wrap was amazing.. fresh veggies and falafel tasted great. My husband got the same but with chicken and he loved it. Will definitely be back again for the wraps. Highly recommend if in the area!

I've been there twice, the second time giving them the benefit of the doubt from the first time. The food is ok at best, nothing I'd travel more than 5 minutes for, they try too hard to make it complex and it lacks flavor. The service is less than appetizing. The staff has always been rude, making customers feel as if they should bow in the presence of greatness, numerous people I work with state the same. If the staff were better (friendlier) I'd probably eat there again. Most eat there just due to convenience, same with myself, there isn't much in town. Spending over $20 for a Hot Dog with fries and a soda is a little too pricey. This will be the last time I eat at this establishment.

This establishment has changed owners. They have broken a major economic rule; raising prices significantly and reducing portion sizes. A wrap is over $17. A WRAP!! This is a huge mark up and it was a half inch smaller.A family meal would be $80+. Instead of getting 5 meals, we got 2 adult meals and 1 kid 's meal AND PAID $45!! That 's diet pricing because we couldn 't justify paying $80 for lunch. We are not on a diet.I guess they are hoping to rely on a strong base from their ice cream business and the old owner 's menu. With the old owners, we also got ice cream (sometimes a pint to go). Now it 's one or the other.So let 's do the math. Old pricing we got 5 meals and paid $60. But we then got about $15 in ice cream. The same food would be well over $100 so we cut back to under $50 (and will rarely go).They are losing loyal customers. (We 've been going to grass roots since they opened 10 years ago and deep roots since they opened after that).
