Everything had an overpowering “smoked” flavor; the creamed corn, green beans, and pork chop all tasted the same. I had requested my pork chop to be well done, but it was raw near the bone. The waiter claimed it was cooked to 135 degrees, but food safety guidelines recommend cooking pork to at least 165 degrees for health reasons. I couldn’t eat that meal. Additionally, the dining room is located up a flight of stairs and is not ADA compliant. The tables are packed closely together, making it impossible to have a private conversation. Other diners were quite loud and seemed oblivious to their disruptive behavior. Overall, this was not the experience I expected for an expensive anniversary dinner.

I had some of the best stuffed mushrooms I’ve ever had! The food was consistently great, and we were very satisfied. The kid’s grilled cheese was exceptional too! However, the restaurant does not permit bringing in your own wine, even with a corking fee. Overall, it’s one of the better places in Granbury.

We had a wonderful experience and can't wait to return to try more dishes. Our server, although new, was highly knowledgeable and incredibly accommodating! We started with the Texas Trio appetizer, which was excellent. I enjoyed the sea bass, which was cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the bone-in ribeye; while it had great flavor and was also cooked perfectly, we felt that the steak could have been trimmed a bit more. We understand that ribeye is a fattier cut, but some bites he tried were mostly fat with very little meat. Despite that, we still consider our experience to be very positive and eagerly look forward to dining there again.

We made a weeknight reservation for 4 people for a birthday dinner. It was a wonderful experience! We started out with the Texas Trilogy which was excellent. We then ordered the seafood pasta, Atlantic salmon and Center cut filet- everyone enjoyed their meal! We ended the night with cheesecake and the banana pudding, both were delicious. Our server was knowledgeable and so friendly. We would love to come back!

We were so very happy to see Martha here. She was an amazing manager at Rio Mambo and we really miss seeing her there, so we drove the additional 35 miles to come here. Now that we know she is here, we will definitely be back!!!!
