Pleasant and quiet location. Spacious room, nicely furnished, very clean. Good, authentic food at the dining room, at fair prices. Very friendly staff everywhere. As Italian dinners are social- or family events, there is a certain noise level throughout the entire building, but by 11.30pm all was quiet, again.

We been invited here for a 40s birthday party. Venue is beautiful and very chill in the middle of the nature. It’s a village close to the city which you can reach by car 25minutes. Food is great and the outside space is huge. Bear in mind the here service is like a trattoria do not expect to be served as a 5 star Michelin restaurant, its more about food. The also have couple of room if you would like to stay over. We definitely will go back.

Great location and very confortable rooms! At your arrival you can enjoy the big wonderful garden and to park your car. We don't know the quality level of the restaurant but the rooms are perfect. Large sleeping room and large bathroom. All very clean. Suggested.

We stayed in the farm old walnut for two nights since, coming from trieste after the peeled of the barcolana where we were with the opportunity a week in the beautiful city ranging from the same up in Slovenenia, in return we decided to stop in Bologna both to see the famous fig of which I will leave on trip a more than "feral" review, both to dine the second day with friends in a famous black swallow. in this well renovated farmhouse we were assigned a nice room on the first floor, obviously studio but not small and well furnished with furniture intentionally dated but clean and functional where nothing was missing from the desk, a large closet, bedside tables, radiators, air conditioning, tv wall, mini fridge (empty, but perfect for us since we put the under vacuum norcineria purchased at san daniele del friuli. wi-fi, etc. a somewhat antiquated bathroom but also functional with shower cabin and various accessories. clean linen and daily room refurbishment (it seems discounted but in our errand for the boot we have not always found this treatment). good and assorted breakfast in the morning. Then, on the evening of arrival we had dinner in the annexed restaurant which was the main reason why our friends of bologna came to dinner unlike us who chose it to sleep. having seen few commensali and having spoken with the kind manager, these told us that the property is going through not a few difficulties related to the after-covid but especially for the lack of staff practically impossible to find, why, he who was the manager therefore the entrepreneur of the activity, he was going to do it as a waiter therefore, the reason why there was little people (that were only the customers of the rooms, just like us) is because he had stopped to the outside customers. a real sin because it is a beautiful structure and you eat well despite everything because, without entering the detail of the dishes and beyond the difficulties stated, it made us make a delicious dinner of local products and specialties that we have very much appreciated. really a good and beautiful person who should not have deserved those events. We therefore recommend the structure at least as it has mainly concerned us, that is the unique hotel aspect.
