Nuevo Rialto Sc - Granada

I stopped in to grab dinner by myself on a Sunday night. Joaquin at the bar was very kind and took the time to explain the difference in several of the Spanish wines. I enjoyed a glass of the Rioja, a robust red. It came with a slider as the tapa. The patty was topped with queso de cabra and some sort of berry sauce. It was delicious. For dinner, I had the Churrasco y papas. It was a fairly standard Spanish meat and potatoes dinner. The restaurant was well furnished and has a nice terrace area as well. I was satisfied with the food and the service was exceptional. I will be back!

We visted the restaurant and ordered 4 dishes. 2 of 4 were very salty and we returned one dish because it was uneatable. The waiter took back the dish however it was mentioned on the bill. When we asked him to delete the dish from the bill he refused it and was very unpolite. After 10 minutes of discussions we were able to leave the restaurant. Not recommendable!

After checking several restaurants that were all closed, finally, we arrived at Plaza Gracia, where we found several bars, posadas, with tables outside on the plaza, and this one had an empty one. When we set down everything looked all right, but soon to the next table, at least ten children arrived. All the ten of them was running around, shouting, screaming, and it was a bit too much for me during dinner. My partner was not bothered, and after half an hour I started to get used to it, but it was very annoying at first. Of course, I don't blame the restaurant; they don't choose their guests, it was just my bad luck.The waiter was very attentive, soon with our drinks we had some fish free of charge and a very tasty one. My partner ordered fried prawns with salad and tartar sauce, and I had garlic prawns. The first site of them was quite shocking since I was expecting them to arrive on a cast iron plate, sizzling, but mine came in a bowl, and more looked like soup than garlic prawns. Suspiciously I started to fish out the prawns from the liquid with my fork, but they had a surprisingly good taste. After with a piece of bread, I soaked up some of the juice and polished it up. Finally, my partner with a slice with of bread dunked up all the remaining soup and engorged it. It was a very strange garlic prawns but wasn't bad at all. We were pleased with both the service and the food, and the price was reasonable.

We wanted to get in a restaurant that was closed and wandered onto this one which was probably better. I had fried prawns and my lady garlic prawns and both were very good. It was a Friday night and the place was packed so service was a bt slow but cheerful. I would go back here because the prices and the food are both good.

My wife ordered squid, it was soaking in oil. I ordered monkfish, I asked for grilled but it came in batter, there were four pieces of fish, one was 100% bone, two were 50% bone and one was fine. I raised this with the waiter, he took note . When the bill came there was no adjustment. I said I wasn 't paying 16 euros for something I could only eat half of. After referring to his boss, he came back to say effectively, ' that 's the chance you take with monkfish ' . I refused to accept this and went to speak to the boss himself. He refused to acknowledge my complaint. He wanted 50 euros, I paid him 44 , and that was too much for a sub standard meal.
