It 's got giant hunks of meat hanging from the ceiling .. why you would order zucchini pasta or chicken soup is beyond me. It 's also SPAIN.. the service is on average slower. Adapt and deal. It 's the culture. This isn 't Burger King, you don 't get to have it your way . I didn 't have a problem stopping in for 2 drinks and a snack, took 20 minutes and this is my second time here. First time we told them hey we are going to the hamman, and they made sure we got out of here fast.
We popped in for an early dinner on a Saturday night when everything else was already busy. We wanted something quick and light. There are three of these locations within .5 KM of each other on the main drag of Granada. It turns out that this location is the most casual and is lit like a classroom. So not a great atmosphere. Not sure if the menu in all three are the same. We started with beers and received a small plate of complimentary tapas that consisted of a couple of course ground sausages they were OK. I then ordered the Iberico sampler platter that had jamon, chorizo, a type of salami, and a what I think was pork belly. The serving was an ok size for the price but the quality and flavor was just OK. Would not return.
First of all, this is Spain. You do not get ignored: your table is yours for as long as you sit there. It's not like the states where wait staff hovers; to be fair, in the states it paid for you to get in and out since wait staff work for tips. The croquettes were delicious (we got the mixed) and my husband says the blood sausage was just how he remembered it from Germany. Unfortunately, there's street work going on right now, so we won't be lingering. We only wanted a snack before our bike tour, so not a big deal. The waiter was the best, so friendly and funny. Definitely a great place.
Updated clean modern vibe to this restaurant. Waiters were friendly and efficient. Free tapas offered with drinks. We got the burgers including the Iberian pork and premium wagyu beef. All excellent! Comes with fries although we were able to substitute 2 with salad. Desserts were , the white chocolate soup with ice cream and tiramisu were excellent but cheese cake a little dry. Overall a great place to eat-would recommend!
The food was so horrible I figured a review would save people from eating here. My husband and I ordered from the menu del día which comes with a 1st course and then a second course. I ordered a soup with very minimal ingredients it was like I ordered chicken broth. Then I ordered a zucchini pasta which did not say that it would be coming with shrimp. I told the waiter I don't eat seafood and he said it was on the menu. I look back at the menu and I see a very tiny picture of a sea creature by the item but no writing that says it comes with shrimp. I let it slide and asked him politely for the pork with potatoes instead. The plate arrives basically dripping in grease, the potatoes soaked in grease. I tried a little bit of the potatoes to be nice but I couldn't finish. I hoped I had read the reviews before dining here. Never again.
