Neuneralm - Grainau

To all those who want to experience a real Bavarian stone, I recommend running on this pasture! The spirits are divorced at the inn: Evi, mid-40, the good food is not cut off and a soul of man, is reddish and funny at the same time. And everyone is waiting for the next one that's coming. Rarely that a jammed upper study council is echauffed. He wouldn't be taken seriously either. Bread time, soups, ice cups, homemade cakes. Everything there is on an alm. Easy and good. The business is getting old! Sensational views of meadows, mountains and forests! Goats and sheep graze in summer next to the Alm. Sometimes you have to wait, because Evi is alone. For this, the next local pensioner gets shouted loudly on the weekend: What are you doing here? You can come Monday. Theatre of the finest!

Wir haben die Neuneralm schon oft besucht. Die Location ist einfach schön und gut zu erreichen. Leider lässt der Service sehr zu wünschen übrig. Evi, die Wirtin war hoffnungslos überfordert, weil der Koch erkrankt sein soll. Die gleiche Aussage haben wir im letzten Jahr gehört, ein Déja Vu? Wenn Stammpersonal längere Zeit ausfällt, sollte ein gut organisierter Betrieb in der Lage sein, für Ersatz zu sorgen um Gäste bedienen zu können. Wir wollten zu Mittag essen, haben aber darauf verzichtet, nach dem wir eine Stunde (!!!) auf die Getränke gewartet haben.

Schönes Gasthaus mit tollen freundlichem Service und fairen Preisen auch bei großem Besucherandrang.

Nur unweit oberhalb von Grainau liegt die Neuneralm in 20 Minuten Laufweite vom Ortsrand. Die sonnige Terrasse bietet schöne Blicke auf die umliegenden Berge und lädt somit zur Einkehr ein. Das Essen ist sehr gut.

You have to walk about .6 mile into Neuneralm. We always make a point to stop here for lunch while in Grainau. I think in 10 years we have been here 4 times. When we stopped by this year the owner/waitstaff recognized us, so impressive. There is a very large sun terrasse and the views are great. Very typical Bavarian food. Lots of hiking trails converge here.
