Waterside Guesthouse

My wife and I had dinner there last Saturday night and we were really impressed. The quality of the food was excellent and large portions. There was a 'hen party ' having dinner at the same time but the staff were well able to cope with the busy restautant . The staff were very attentive and knew all about the menu when we asked. It was lovely to see staff that definitely put the customer first. Well done to all involved and we will definitely be back soon, Keep up the good work, best restaurant we have vistited for a long time. We did not stay in the hotel so cannot comment on all of the questions below.

Hired a bike here was a really excellent quality bike for very reasonable fee will be back for sure. Lovely friendly helpful happy staff too .

Beautifully restored old 1800s building, the staff were really friendly and professional. I enjoyed a lovely lunch and breakfast. The quality of the food was superb. Within walking distance of the village and local amenities. The room was a good size overlooking the river.

I stopped by for a scone and coffee, and it was delicious. It's a great spot to take a break while walking along the river.

We stayed at the Waterside Guesthouse as part of our Irish rowing adventure tour in October 2023. The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. The reception desk was very helpful, answering our questions and assisting with other requests. The surroundings were stunning, perfect for a walk, hike, or bike ride. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although not modern, everything worked well. We are looking forward to coming back to the Waterside Guesthouse soon.
