Athen Greek Restaurant - Grafenwöhr

My husband and I have gone to this restaurant for years! It never disappoints! When we lived in Graf, I would say that we ate there at least three times a month. They have lunch specials and a larger menu for dinner. The food is fantastic. We always get the garlic bread with tzatziki sauce, it gets devoured in minutes and the plate it cleaned. We have tried several different meals there, it is all good. For the first timer we always suggest to go with the gyros, but I have loved their calamari for years. It really is good food. In the summer I love eating at the outdoor area. Every time we make it back to Graf, it's part of our plan to eat here at least once or twice during our trip.

Truly we had the worse meal of a lifetime! Lifeless food, lacking any sensation of Greek food. Paid 50 Euros for 2 adults and left knowing that we would never return here. We have recommended this place before for lunch but will not in the future. Salad was missing any white cabbage. Calamari was greasy. Had to order feta cheese extra because none was in the salad. Then the cheese was very hard, not of good quality. Bread was hard and leftover. Waiter-owner was as lifeless as the food. We will go other places next time.

We had a super lunch here today. I had calamari and my husband the mixed plate with extra white kraut. Our meals were both delicious with 2 very cold Greek Wines on a hot day! Service was quick. Place is clean and pleasant inside. We will return here very soon!

My friends and I went out for dinner and someone had suggested this place so we were all excited to go eat there. It took forever to get our food and when my friend got her lam she cut into it and it was ice cold. Neverrrrrrrr going back

We go regularly and have a family dinner. Notice I didn't say quiet as my kids can be noisy but the staff is nice and doesn't mind. We love the 2 person platter as it feeds 4!
