Great atmosphere, amazing beer and very friendly staff

Quaint little restaurant. The Biergarten must by absolutely stunning in summer. Fast service, good food and reasonably priced. Really appreciated the fact that the waitress helped my mom on the way out. That was super sweet of her.

Wish I could share an experience. We tried this place on the 28th July 2021 again today. What a waste of time. On BOTH occasions, during the stated operating hours indicated on the board at the street front., we were told they were opening at a different time. Both occasions we weren’t even offered a seat to at least enjoy a drink. Took our party of 4 elsewhere to eat. Wont be bothered with trying to see if you’re feeling hospitable at any other time when we pass through Graaff-Reinet again. Follow up after receiving his reply. So just after reading Johans ' reply I decided to give him a call and discuss. The call lasted 53secs, and ended with Well I don 't need people like you at my restaurant. and he ended the call. So as per your reply , Maybe if you had read our times on google and trip advisor you would have seen our times that we open. The fact is we did check Google when we were there and just to make sure I checked BOTH after receiving the reply. Trip advisor says 11am -9pm Google says 12pm-9pm. Anyway, your customer service needs attention, and your hours of operation need to be updated.

Loved the atmosphere and excellent food. Friendly staff with the most beautiful local cat (Sprite). Don't skip Dessert... The apple crumb is delicious!

Great food with friendly service. A must for friends who want an atmosphere of another country. With excellent brew on tap friendships can go from strength to strength.
