Zyka Indian Cuisine Ilam

Even though I told them I write a bad review about them the manger said we don’t care, I think you need to think twice before saying that. The story started when we start ordering the food and we wanted Naan with masala and the staff recommended to take the student meal, but we informed him clearly we are not student and he said its for everyone, hence we ordered that and extra bread too When we show the discount we have from the app, the manger step in and he told Ops you cant have the discount then I asked clearly is it my mistake that your staff recommended something for me, then they replied with same answer that all the restaurants reply when they don’t want to claim the voucher. It ends up of him treating the student meal as normal meal and charge me extra 4$ When they knew for granted I will not keep silent they offered me the 4$ back but I didn’t take it, I rather tell everyone a bout how you treat the customers. Think twice before said you don’t care about reviews, reviews its your reputation otherwise don’t run a business.

Had Butter chicken, garlic naan and a mango lassi, Butter chicken was tasty a touch sweet for my liking but still pretty good nice flavour, naan was good personally I like it with a bit more softer texture but what I got was nice. Would come again and would recommend trying Zyka

More spice and garlic too. Garlic Naan needs more salt and garlic. If you call my meal hot to spicy, not enough spice.. maybe the university children like it mild. Not me. Dont be so stressed working or cooking. Focus.!!

Disappointed in my meal and the customer service when paying. I ordered the chicken Korma, it tasted nothing like a chicken korma. I genuinely thought i received the wrong dish, so did the others at my table who also got it. It tasted questionably salty and smelt fishy. I could not force myself to eat more than 1/4 of it. The garlic naan was good but couldn't save my experience.

Wouldn’t recommend ordering the chicken Korma. Was so sweet that it almost taste like sweet corn out of the can cooked with chicken. Later in the evening then received a call at 9pm to be accused of not paying for my order. I checked my bank account to make sure and it clearly showed that $27 went to Zyka Indian at the correct time and date (no pending transaction) explained this while I was on the phone with the guy and he still didn’t seem to believe me as apparently it didn’t clear on their system. He then asked me to email and screen shot of my bank statement to him which I did. Very disappointed and not going back here again.
