The Ruby Rooftop Bar is a fantastic spot to enjoy the sunshine. It is definitely worth a visit when the weather is lovely and the sun is shining bright.

I had a pleasant dinner with friends. The food was delicious, but it could have used a bit more sauce. However, the meat was excellent!

I visited the restaurant at the Scandic Rubies hotel for an early dinner on a Thursday afternoon. Despite it being 4:30, I was surprised to receive a lunch menu with limited options such as a burger, salad, or shrimp sandwich. I decided to try the shrimp sandwich, but felt that the staff were more focused on promoting alcohol rather than the food. The sandwich was good, but much pricier compared to a similar one at a café across the street. It wasn't until another table received a different menu that I realized I had been given the wrong one. I also discovered that the restaurant is cashless and only accepts credit card payments.

We were a group of family members around 12 people) attending a concert in Gothenburg in July. We did not stay overnight at the hotel, but just popped in for a drink. We went to the roof top and were surprised that we found...space for all of us! Fantastic bar, quick service, good drinks, incredible view and good music. Lots of seating and also with some shade options. Stop by here for a drink during summer months!
