Koka - Gothenburg

A great experience that exceeds our expectations. Many new flavors and unique combinations, sometimes some Japanese influences, but with a complete Swedish take. The smoked Celeriac was definitely a highlight for us! Excellent service and environment, very impressed.

Well, if you still need to experience Koka, you could do yourself a favor and book yourself a table. Each course was well done, presented and surprising. Each course had a frying taste and texture that you guessed what ingredients were used and what method was used to prepare it. The food is local, and every dish is recognizable yet new. The service was very efficient and personal. The environment was welcoming, neat and simply unlimited. We sat for 3 hours without fatigue. Well worth your time and effort.

We had the best evening here from the beginning to the end. The food was amazing and they were beautiful for my partner who is vegan. He had the wine pairing that was stunning! Maya, who imitated us, was brilliant and incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about food and wine. If you're in Gothenburg, you have to come here.

When looking for total commitment and focus on food and wine, this was a wonderful experience. Beautiful and interesting small courses and the choice of wine to accompany the food was excellent. I was inspired. And happy. Service and hospitality were great. Thank you.

We have been there twice. Both times we got the tasting menu with the wine pairing. Great experience. High level of food and service. Not too formal very warm and friendly atmosphere. Fair prices.
