Kathmandu Closed - Gothenburg

The location of the restaurant is lovely and the staff were very friendly. We tried the Kathmandu Thali, which allows you to sample a variety of dishes at once - a great idea. We ordered the spicy version, which was actually quite hot (a bonus for me). Everything was delicious and the prices were fair. I highly recommend this place and would happily return.

I have visited Kathmandu several times before and was disappointed during my recent visit. I ordered tandoori chicken with paneer and naan bread, but was served cold and raw chicken. Despite informing the waiter, she insisted on replacing the dish, which I declined due to lack of trust. The paneer and naan were mediocre at best. The service was lacking, with no apology or explanation from the chef. I was still charged the full amount for my meal without any discount offered. Mistakes can happen, but serving raw food is unacceptable. I will not be returning to this restaurant and urge others to be cautious if considering dining here.

I had lunch here and everything was amazing. The food was excellent, the waitresses were very kind and helpful, and they had good anti-COVID measures in place like ventilation, distance, and hand sanitizer at the entrance. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be returning!
