The Vine - Gosport

Had an amazing evening here for my husband's 50th, the Manager and bar staff were so helpful all through the booking process to the end of the night, would highly recommend it.

We had an incredible wedding reception at this venue. The staff were fantastic and made sure all our needs were met to make our evening even more special. The value for money was exceptional. I highly recommend this place.

I took some elderly people to go and watch the drag queens At the end of the night they came quite aggressive to the extent he was going to punch a 72-year-old lady he asked for criticism so he could make the show better so she gave him criticism he became very aggressive he was verbally abusive to the extent he was going to thump a 72-year-old lady if it wasn’t for his mum holding back he would’ve mostly been in jail by now we will not be visiting that pub for condoning such bad behaviour and the landlord done nothing to stop All I say is think twice before going but she could drag queens are there 16th of September I do believe I will be on again in the same pub in December give it a miss

I recently had Sunday lunch with friends at The Vine. They offered a roast lunch special, and since I have a milk allergy, the landlady kindly went through the menu with me. She explained that I could have everything except for the stuffing and Yorkshire pudding. However, they had "free from" versions of those that I could have instead. My meal came out separately, which is not always the case at other restaurants I have been to. I was also able to enjoy a delicious chocolate pudding with "free from" vanilla ice cream for dessert. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. I was impressed with the landlady's knowledge and understanding of my allergy. They also had safety protocols in place for COVID-19, which made me feel safe. I'm giving this review 4 stars because my roast had tinned peas, but overall the food was really good and I would return to eat there again.

The Sunday lunch at this restaurant is fantastic. It includes three types of homemade meats and a large portion for just £7. It is definitely the best value in the Gosport peninsula.
