Restaurant Bombay - Goslar

Nice and cosy place with excellent food. We enjoyed the evening and we recommend the lamb over the chicken.

I visited here with my wife and daughter upon recommendation from a Hindi friend of hers. We booked for a Saturday evening and were glad we did as it was quite busy. We had a mixed pakora starter, which was fine, but the main courses...were absolutely divine. A Tarka dal, chicken Karahi, lamb Jalfrezi and Chana Masala (chickpea) with plain rice to share. All tasted so completely different, spicy where appropriate the meats were succulent. We also ordered a Puri bread to share. First time ever having it. Gorgeous. Can’t recommend this establishment enough.

The place is hard to find in Goslar, so not many tourists (like us) around. The owner is very friendly easy to speak with. My wife and me had a nice evening. About the food i'm not sure, too much middle of the road ..I think

Ordered takeaway from here which cost over for vegetarian curries, nan a drink.. expensive for Indian but discovering the quality was also terrible we felt doubly ripped off! Both curries (dahl makhani an eggplant dish) were extremely watery lacked...flavour; the nan breads each were rock hard (my partner's was actually inedible); instead of the sweet' lassi i ordered I got a super salty one. We know good Indian food and this was NOT it. Everything about this meal was an expensive disappointment.
