Kind of a bummer, but not a deal breaker. You will get a delicious variety from the mixed bread basket to dip into your entrees. Today we ordered the Chicken Tikka Saag and Paneer Makhani to share as well as a couple of vegetable samosas. Plenty to fill us up and to take home for leftovers!
I walked in overwhelmed with the smells of the food here, to the point it made me feel both like I had already eaten, and like I hadn't so much as seen food in weeks. As someone who has never eaten Indian cuisine before, the service was fantastic, their recommendations were excellent, but the real star of the show is the food. I got the lamb curry with naan bread. Let me tell you this food sent me to heaven. The naan complemented the curry perfectly, and made me feel more comfortable than I sometimes am in my own home. The curry was also excellent, though I may have to try medium, since I found that at mild I still ate too fast. I would compare the atmosphere to that of a coffee shop, very calming with a delectable scent to prepare you for an excellent dining experience. Will absolutely bring my friends.
This was my first time at this restaurant and it was also the first time I ever had Indian food so I had no idea of what to order. The young man that was my waiter took the time to explain the menu and when I told him what I liked he recommended a plate so I ordered that. The meal was delicious and I will definitely be going back with a friend.
Excellent Indian food. Wide variety of dishes to choose from. Hands down Elkhart County’s best restaurant (and our favorite Indian restaurant in US). Flavorful. Unique. Authentic. Extremely good service and kind staff.
Nice little Indian restaurant in Goshen, Indiana. I'm normally a butter chicken fan, but today I was feeling a bit more adventurous, so I got the chicken 65 as an appetizer, fried chicken in a spicy ginger, cayanne pepper and mustard sauce, which was very good, and then for my entrée I went with the chicken Tikka Masala and garlic naan. It was a fine dish... Enough food for probably two people to share and not get excessively full, but I ate alone so I was feeling pretty stuffed by the end of the meal. It definitely satisfied my Indian cuisine urge. The dishes were not too spicy but still had a bite and the flavor was on point. The service was exceptional... Quick and efficient, even during the take out rush, they had my food out in minutes and you could see the steam coming off of it so you know it was hot out of the pot, not sitting around. If you are in Goshen and find yourself in the mood for Indian cusine, so by this place, it's a winner.
