Angel's House Of Pancakes - Goshen

I would like to give it a better rating, but I find it inconsistent. Sometimes it is great, other times not so much. I believe it depends on who is preparing the food. I typically judge restaurants based on their Reubens and biscuits and gravy. Both can be amazing. However, I have also received biscuits that were inedible and a Reuben that was far from authentic. If they can improve consistency, this place could be one of the best in the area. Unfortunately, this inconsistency has been an issue for several years. The staff is friendly and usually willing to address any food-related issues.

The diner was nice and the service was great. However, the pancakes were a bit delicate and tended to fall apart when I tried to dip them in the syrup. I may just have a different preference, as I prefer to dip my pancakes rather than pouring syrup on top like most people do.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic! The portions are generous and reasonably priced, which is a bonus. The service is excellent as well. I will definitely return and highly recommend it to others. You won't be disappointed!

I really wish I could give a better review because the waitress was so sweet but the food just won’t allow it. I got the egg and French toast combo. The bacon was so-so, the sausage links tasted like those super cheap brown and serve ones you buy at the Dollar Tree and the eggs were bland, which eggs usually are. The French toast was very undercooked and soggy with raw egg. It’s unfortunate as the atmosphere is open and looks clean and the waitress was really sweet and attentive.

Always good. Always large portions. Saturdays, plan a 15 minute wait to get in. Very friendly. Super prices.
