Country Kitchen - Gorey

I have gone into the Country Market quite a few times recently and the customer service is appalling! I have been given cold sausage rolls and then when I’ve ask to heat them the women at the counter look at you like you’ve asked them to run a mile! I asked for my sandwich to be toasted and I actually thought she was going to have a go at me! Very unhelpful and very cold, every time I’ve gone in it’s the same women and the same attitude. Never again am I giving them any of my money: Everyone I’ve talked to has had the exact same experience, ridiculous

Tasty Irish breakfast with good quality sausages and well cooked eggs. Service is friendly and efficient. Brown bread is excellent and Scones looked very tasty. Worth visiting for breakfast/brunch.

This was a nice choice for lunch on a cold November day. The cafe upstairs had a good deal of seating, and many tables had views of the street and neighborhood outside. There were several choices on the menu, including breakfast until 12:30 pm. The vegan options were few. My group, all vegan, each ordered the same sandwich. It was good, but some more options would have been appreciated.

The Country Market is a great spot to get your coffee in Howth as it is one of the best value places for your take away Coffees. The Sandwiches are good value too , and if you need sandwiches for an occasion the price is reasonable and better value than a lot of places around and the selection is of good quality . The staff are lovely and hard working, they have a lovely selection of pastries and occasionally cheesecake which although rare is absolutely gorgeous. I wish they would have a better selection of gluten free options available like a fritata as well as a quiche or a sweet option . Great little spot all round, Recommend.

Dropped in here for an early coffee and something to eat last weekend, and while my friend ordered the coffees, the extremely unwelcoming attitude from both members of staff made me decide to spend my money for food elsewhere. Plenty of good spots in Howth, and I wont be giving my cash to anybody with the attitude that they are doing you a favour by serving you.
