El Lago Mexican Grill - Gore

Delicious! We dined here today while heading out of town. We arrived after the lunch rush, and the service was excellent along with the food. I highly recommend the street tacos; they were amazing! I was so full that I had to take some home. My husband ordered the Tacos al Pastor, and he also thought they were fantastic.

Absolutely fantastic! The Mexican food is delicious and the staff is wonderful. Our order was taken quickly, and the food was ready in just minutes. Located in Gore, Oklahoma, the prices are very reasonable. I visited Gore for a wedding in Vian, and I was pleasantly surprised by the great bar menu!

This restaurant is fantastic! I have to admit that some of their portions can be a bit small, but if you eat like we do, you learn how to order extra food for three people, and it never costs more than $35. It feels like I just finished an all-you-can-eat Mexican meal. It took us some time to adjust to their menu since we're used to different offerings at other Mexican restaurants, but that's alright. I actually prefer this place over the one in Vian; Rustic Cantina is pretty awful and seems more suited for city slickers on their way to the lake.

Steak, chicken, and chorizo fajitas were excellent, and the service was fast and attentive. However, the cheesecake was not what I expected. It was a yellow layer cake with a sort of cheesecake filling between the layers. The white icing was greasyand pretty tasteless. Overall, I would definitely go back, just skip desert.

Friendly staff, a very large menu to choose from, and the place seems very clean. They serve a huge michelada and it is the best I've ever had! The food is awesome too! We also liked that they had a parking lot big enough for our truck and 34 foot camper.If you're visiting the lake be sure and stop in for good food and great service. This place will be one of our lake traditionsfrom now on.
