Although there are plenty of non teppinyaki seats if you want a great meal. Great place to take kids for a birthday party, or a birthday in general.
Delicious food prepared in front of you by skilled and entertaining chef. Good fun. Kids should try to leave room for the Mickey Mouse pancakes.
Very Unimpressed. The restaurant is old, stuck in the 80's or 90's. And, is dark and damp. The food had no taste. The chef was continuously drinking red wine, which I think had gone to his head. Our clothes stunk of smoke after we left the restaurant.
This is an excellent way to enjoy great food cooked in a japanese manner. The teppanyaki chef makes it a good night out.
The food is not really the main focus at Fujiya. That is not to say to say it isnt good. It offers reliable, family friendly teppan yaki at a fair price. Just be prepared for a lot of it to end up on the floor. The chefs here are very keen to entertain, with the eggs and rice being happily tossed all over the place. Tip: learn to catch under pressure
