The Mirch Masala - Gorakhpur

The Mirch Masala Restaurant is a great option for anyone arriving at the Gorakhpur train station. It is right in front of the station entrance. While there are many restaurants around, not all of them come recommended, but the "Mirch Masala Restaurant" does. They offer traditional Indian, Chinese, and South Indian specialties. Their thali is excellent. We also tried a finely minced meat dish with parsley and arugula, as well as a vegetarian tomato-based dish to dip in naan bread, which was also very good here. We were staying at the hotel right next door, the Hotel Adarsh Palace, just 150 meters away. We ate here several times and also ordered takeout for dinner some nights; rice or noodles. Every time we enjoyed it, very well cooked!
