Sarvanna Bhavan - Gorad Salem

This restaurant is one of the top places in town to enjoy delicious South Indian food at an affordable price. I always choose this restaurant when I'm in the mood for South Indian cuisine because the food is light, satisfying, and has an authentic taste. During my last visit, I tried the 14 mini idlis in clarified butter and the Rawa Masala Dosa, and they were outstanding. The only downside is the waiting line, but it's definitely worth a visit if you're craving some mouthwatering South Indian food. I would rate it 4/5.

The location of the restaurant is wonderful and the food is delicious. However, I experienced some issues during my visit. When I ordered a milkshake, it was served warm. The waiter explained that the chef had only added ice cream to the milk, forgetting to include ice cubes. I was surprised by this and suggested adding frozen milk, but the waiter argued that milkshakes are traditionally made with just milk and ice cubes. I was left feeling confused by the situation.

I visited this restaurant on October 19, 2016 with my wife for breakfast on our way to Yercaud from Erode. The restaurant was very clean and had all the necessary amenities for travelers. They have a bookstore, a clothing store, a paan and betel nut shop, and an ATM from Axis Bank, as well as ample parking facilities. The restrooms were well-maintained. They also offer lodging options for guests, with air-conditioned rooms available for both day use and overnight stays. The restaurant serves only vegetarian food that is both reasonably priced and delicious. I highly recommend stopping by this restaurant if you are passing through the area.

We saw the hoarding on our way to Coimbatore and dropped in for dinner. Dosa varieties were really good but the lemon sevai was very dry and cholapuri was so hard. Good place to take a break on a long drive.

The food is very tasty and of good quality. Been a couple of times here for breakfast and dinner. Must visit here if you are passing by !
