Manee Siam Thai Restaurant - GOODWOOD

Very disappointing night out. My partner and I had been before and found if quite pleasant so decided to give it another go.  Unfortunately this ended up being a big mistake. The service was very slow and the waiter managed to get our order wrong. When we finally got our main dishes the steamed rice was cold and the beef dish was barely warm. The waiter was apologetic and offered to replace the beef dish but we had had enough so asked for a replacement dish to take away instead. This also took forever and we sat there feeling very uncomfortable. When we finally got the bill we had still been charged for the beef dish which we refused to pay for. The front of house man/waiter then proceeded to argue with us and ask "was it really that cold".  Finally a lady appeared and gave the nod for the beef dish to be removed from the bill.  In a last minute final gesture the front of house/waiter guy said "next time ring ahead so we can make sure we prepare the dish fresh for you" - what the?? The fact is we had a bad experience and the manager should have tried to rectify the situation by offering us some discount or  a voucher for our next visit.  We would then have not written this review.

Wouldn't recommend. I ordered the beef basil - takeaway. No flavour. Not much in the container ( barely enough for one person). Won't be returning

The meals where AMAZING and the people that work there are super nice. While they where bringing out the meal there was a miscommunication between which of the dishs was a meal and which one was the banquet. I ended up getting the banquet which was wrong because I ordered the meal but I didn't mind because that meant more food for me. ????

Delicious Thai favourites like pad Thai and green chicken curry but awful service! Leave you waiting for yonks before coming over to take your order- you almost have to wave them over for service which really is a pet hate of mine having to work in hospitality myself.
