I eat here all the time; it's my go-to for Chinese food. Their food is great, and the prices are unusually low, making it a popular place for locals to get takeaway. I have some Chinese friends who also eat here regularly and love the food, as there are a lot of traditional dishes as well as popular Australian ones. While the decor may not be modern, the staff are warm and welcoming in this family run restaurant.

This place was a great find! It doesn't have the best decor but it is probably the best Chinese I have had in SA and I have been to a lot of Chinese restaurants in SA. It is a family run restaurant and the sons who provide the customer service are very nice.

If you want authentic Chinese food at very reasonable prices, the Fu Lin is the place to visit. Mr & Mrs Liu are the chiefs and their son is the waiter.If it's busy you can wait some time when ordering take away, as everything is made from scratch. But I think dining in is really worth it as you get more food on a plate than you do in one of those plastic rectangular take away containers.The honey chicken is made with real honey; but there is also the Mongolian lamb, the Combination Ho Fun and the Flounder, to name just a few dishes.

I am working near this restaurant for the next ten days, I finish late, but they are still open, I went in first night to collect takeaway order and they wanted a 5% surcharge on visa card transaction. I complained that it was excessive, but i was tired and hungry so paid itSecond night i go in, next guy at counter tells me it ia a 10% surcharge. I said it wa only 5% the night before, and suddenly the guy from the first night appears, tells me he made a mistake and it is always 10% surcharge on credit cardsI told them they were about to loose my custom for the remainder of my stay, i also pointed out it had just been made illegal to do just this. they just shrugged and said they were happy to loose my customI have never been treated so badly by a restaurant DONE GO THERE. they do not deserve you custom

We enjoyed our garlic prawns and fried rice very much. The prawns and vegetables were beautifully fresh.
