Le Bois Cheri - Goodlands

A very scenic and serene restaurant perched on a hill overlooking a lake and a tea and guava plantation. The food was also lovely and the staff were very friendly. It was also really nice walking around the area and soaking in the fresh air and sunshine.

This was my second visit to the restaurant, and it was an incredible experience. The views of the mountains and lush greenery were stunning. One of the highlights was feeding bread to the deer and guavas to the wild boars. Our waitress, Tina, was professional and provided excellent service. The food was delicious and visually appealing. There were four of us, including two friends from abroad, and we thoroughly enjoyed the octopus salad and palm salad with smoked marlin, as well as our main courses of chicken, fish, and shrimp. Everything was well-seasoned with a uniquely delightful flavor. Tina truly deserves a promotion; she was very welcoming and attentive to our needs.

I visited this place a year ago and enjoyed an amazing tea tasting featuring a variety of locally harvested teas. There were so many different flavors to try. There's ample parking available, but do keep in mind that the road leading in is unpaved, so it's best to drive slowly. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, making it a perfect spot to unwind.

The server was really kind and attentive, gave really good service. The food was all delicious and the menu had a good variety of meals. I liked that the portion sizes were ‘normal’ not huge. We (7 people) were served promptly. The restaurant itself is really lovely with wonderful views of the tea plants, gardens and local wildlife.

Best food .. excellent atmosphere with beautiful view value for money... nice day out with family and friends ... good customer service.. friendly staff... soothing .. calm place .. away from the hustle n bustle of daily activity..
