Maverik Adventure's First Stop

The cashiers are always helpful in finding what you need. It's also great that they're open 24 hours a day.

It's an older gas station, but the staff is extremely friendly.

I went to the gas station to fill up my tank, but my car wouldn't start. After waiting for an hour in the cold for a tow truck, the cashier asked me to move my car off the pump island since I was blocking it. I explained that the car wouldn’t budge, but she insisted I move it anyway. It was frustrating because there had been no cars at the pumps for at least half an hour, and there were four other pumps available. The cashier, Shannen, was quite rude throughout the exchange. Dealing with her attitude made a frustrating situation even worse, especially in the frigid 16° weather while I was stuck waiting for help. I definitely won’t return to this gas station again.

Usually my experience is good here at Maverick in Gooding, except for today. I always use my debit card, today when my card was declined (oversight on my part), the cashier was nice enough to let EVERYONE in line KNOW my card was declined for insufficient funds very loudly. I may think twice going back, we'll see.

If I could give this negative stars I would. The cashier was extremely rude to me and rolled her eyes a few times at me. She was annoyed that I was cashing in scratch cards and ignored the fact that I would have been a paying customer. I took my business elsewhere and will not be returning to this Maverick.
