I've now been here twice while traveling. Absolutely love this place. Will go again. Love their oysters a.d the atmosphere

Had a party of 20/25 table was set for 20 manager got a attitude because I asked for 1 more chair. Shrimp wrapped with bacon was dry and hard. We couldnt order what we really wanted because they have a select menu for party's charbroil oyster were rushed to smokey and black

Waiter was fantastic. Atmosphere was formal. Food preparation wasn't on point.

I'll drive further to come to this one over the BR location, they take it to the next level in Gonzales!

I have always considered Mike Anderson's a great place to go. We had family in from out of town during my last trip to eat at Mike Anderson's on Friday 1/13/23. We had a party of 7 including my 88 year old grandmother. Reservations were made for 6:15 p.m. so that my grandmother wouldn't have to wait so long. Unfortunately, we didn't get seated until 7:45 p.m. When the hostess approached us and asked us if we were ready to be seated I commented and said “what do you think” in a joking manner. … – show
