Right in the center of Gonnesa we found this very pretty brewery: very cozy and particular interior with the taplezzate walls of various Sardinian phrases, a meeting between modernity and tradition. Finding a brewery that offers a wide choice of craft beers (and not only the usual ichnusa), for those who love beer is not easy and this place has best met expectations. We ordered a smoked red beer, a blonde and a spritz, also great, all accompanied by a cutter of meats, cheeses and croutons. Then they brought us culurgiones and malloreddus with sauce, exquisite. All products were prepared by the owners, very good and friendly. I recommend everyone to get lost in the West Coast and end up skirting to experience this culinary experience.
On August 20, with 6 friends we decide to go to dinner outside, so we book in this place saying that we would only want to eat two dishes of mussels, and the remaining four would have taken a sandwich. We arrive at this place at the established time, and the waitress tells us that the bread for the sandwiches was finished and that we could only serve soutè di cozze. Obviously we went very angry, since hours before, at the time of booking we also specified what we would prefer to eat; so we would have expected that they were able and were prepared to accommodate six people at dinner, unfortunately it was not so at all. The maid was very friendly and understood the situation, but the organization of the room is really bad. They did a very bad figure and we will definitely not be back given the discomfort that created us.
Great local food as well as staff. The furniture of the structure is also very nice. Really special donkey meat. Good news to Gonnesa!
With my boyfriend we decided to try for lunch the cuisine of Laura and Francesco, recommended by friends of the place, opting for a steak of donkey with potatoes and one of beef with salad: perfect average cooking, tender meat and extremely tasty.. all accompanied by two glass of Scialla wine, of the cellars Surrau that we already knew, but we had not yet got to taste them in the area!! We then stretched out with a craft beer, the Line-up...Francesco explains and perfectly recommends the variety of beers available, respecting the taste of the customer... finally a cheesecake to the strawberries and a seadas loaded with honey, prepared both by Laura, who really has gold hands having then had the opportunity to see her culurgiones...(we will return to try them!! What to say, all great and quality, good price in a family and relaxed environment where you can enjoy the tradition in a youthful and delicious way. Ps: before the main course we broke hunger with a xxl bruschetta to fresh tomato, excellent!! Recommended, will not disappoint you
Not being a lover of sandwiches I opted for a sweet and delicious donkey steak (perfect cooking!!) accompanied by an excellent focaccia prepared by the owner. To conclude the dinner a thousand straws of caramelized carasau bread with ricotta mousse and chocolate scales...a pleasure!! !
