This place offers an authentic Texas dance hall experience with contemporary enhancements, a complete bar, and fantastic food! The outdoor area is also absolutely lovely.

I had an amazing night! This was my first visit to Goliad, and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed the opening act, Michael Lee FW, and stayed for Everclear. It wasn't too late, and I highly recommend it!

Second oldest dance hall????? This sweet old gal looks like brand new!! The parking spaces, the toilets, the stage, the seating, the dance floor and even the outer collection areas, all seem like well held for diamonds! many wonderful updated touches everywhere! And the cherry on the head is the grill! Prepare to eat kings! Chef Becky and staff offer 5 star food!!

Cold beer, good music, great people. One of the oldest, and still my favorite. Loved this place as a kid (young adult for the liberals) and even more after coming home to learn of, and assisted in, the trimmings of every tree on the property in preperation for the reopening and new life. Cheers to many more years and one of the greatest honky tonk bars on the planet. Nobody does honky tonk like Texas. So if that's what your looking for, this would be the epitome and embodiment of a damn good Texas time
