Outpost at the Goodland - Goleta

Excellent food and great service. Live music made it festive and funny. we ate outside and heating lamps kept us warm.

Bar service and cocktails good. the dinner server was good. chorizo flatbread obviously a prepared product, only poured in the kitchen with salsa. soggy and not hot. chorizo not carburized pieces. carnitas slider same, tasteless pork and no other aromen. would go back for a cocktail, definitiw not for eating. pity, could be nice neighboring, local hang-out spot. Previous owners eat so much better, prepared in the house, not poor in the meal reheated by kitchen staff delivered. previous owner kitchen so much better.

The leta was great! They have a beautiful terrace outside. the service was excellent! we had the leta burger and angus rindslider. all delicious and plentiful. we have taken something home, as the portions were abundant. we also tried the fried handcake. not to miss. it comes with a vanilla bean ice cream from mcconnells. we will make the leta definitiw regular. ayla was our server. she was very friendly and attentive.

We were in the restaurant several times. eating is consistently good. at this opportunity the restaurant was not very busy, but our server could not be disturbed to check on us. she disappeared about 30 minutes, so I rather went after dessert to pay the bill. I found her sitting in the bar by searching her phone and talking to the bartender. I recommend this location, just pray that they don't get our server.

This is a lovely restaurant with very nice outdoor dining options in the garden of a stylish and hip hotel. The food was delicious and the drinks outstanding. Service was a little spotty but didn’t detract from the experience.
