Italian Kitchen - Goldsboro

As we write this in June 2021, nothing has changed except for the lack of dine-in options. The food remains excellent, with ample servings at a good price. However, as of yesterday (January 30, 2022), the pandemic protocols are still in effect, meaning no dining in. For my wife's birthday, we treated ourselves, and yes, they still deliver amazing food for us. While her shrimp in garlic sauce had fewer shrimp than usual, it was still delicious. In our opinion, we would rather pay a little more to enjoy the same quality and amount of food. We highly recommend Chen's over any other Chinese restaurant within 100 miles, if not 1000 miles. Unfortunately, we cannot change the star rating because it only goes up to five!

I have been visiting Chen's since I was very young, even before I could truly remember anything. The owner is familiar with my mother and aunts, as well as all the kids—long before there were any kids! Without a doubt, this is the best Chinese food in all of Wayne County. Chen and her family are incredibly kind and attentive. While the wait can be a bit lengthy if you don’t call ahead for your order, it’s definitely worth it, believe me. The General Tso's Chicken and Lo Mein are family favorites and come highly recommended.

The food is incredible—consistently fresh and full of flavor! The chefs here are undoubtedly the finest in the region.

After relocating from a busy, high-priced area to North Carolina, I can confidently say that this restaurant serves some of the best food I've enjoyed in a long time, all at a fantastic price!
