The Golden Taps

Wow, great service! The place was about 1/3 full with one server (also bartending at the time) and I never felt like I had to wait, remind or flag down for something. And while you could see our server speed walk in everywhere she was pleasant and professional, helpful and cheerful to boot. The food was also pretty darn delicious. I had a buffalo chicken wrap which had a little more than average spice to it, which I loved! The ambiance is definitely unique, all of the music that was playing was 50s and 60s honky tonk, mixed in with some newer age honky tonk. As a rock lover you might think this would be annoying but the music tied the entire experience together! We brought our kids in, age 10 and 12, and also enjoyed their food and the experience. Be warned that a couple of the songs had some swearing and cursing, nothing they haven't heard at home before. Ha. I couldn't help but take a photo of the bathroom, I loved how they added the extra sink in sideways LOL

This is the second time here for us. Our friend owns a mini mansion just outside of town and we love coming into town to bike or walk around. First time we came, we had snacks and they were good. Basic pub food which is perfect. This time was just Ceasars and beers. Both times the staff is great. Friendly and polite. We sat in the same booth as last time and will continue to if we can. We really enjoy this pub. The atmosphere is very chill and welcoming. Worth checking out if you're in town or passing through.

This establishment serves pub fare and is a great option for a fast meal and a beer. The staff is friendly.

Good draught beer and comfortable spot to hang around. On a 3 day visit we were so impressed that we went twice to this place…. We are glad we did that because we thoroughly enjoyed and the reason for that is our dear SHONA…. Very friendly and a great bartender …. We are definitely coming back to this place.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and a small but charming patio in the back. The service was friendly and attentive. We only tried a couple of snacks, so we can't speak to the full menu, but what we had was good.
