Gigi's Cupcakes - Golden Valley

The best cupcakes I've ever found in MN! I love good food, and I have a serious weakness for desserts. Buuut I am a firm believer when you eat it, it had BETTER BE WORTH IT. Most desserts don't hit this brand completely, but I'll say if I'll spend a fraudulent day on something, that's one of the best. I have tried both gluten-free and regular flour cupcakes, and I would even dare to say that the gluten-free are the better tasting! (An extremely rare trick to reach in the world of gluten-free desserts. I have long been from most people's view that if it is gluten-free, it's dry and rough. I am a baker, and I know better from my own experience. Gigi 's is a refreshing change to the one with their moist, tasteful cupcakes. Your wedding cake is my favorite and old standby, but I never had one I don't enjoy!

When we were married, we had gigis cupcakes at our reception. Not one of our guests had nothing but amazing things to say! More, we only had gluten-free cupcakes. Gigi can make almost every cupcake gluten-free and boy they are good! When we went to the taste test and tried the cupcakes, Hailee helped us. She was so friendly, thoughtful and didn't even blink an eye that we had a gluten-free wedding. She was so helpful and made me feel comfortable with the order of over 200 cupcakes and a cut cake. They do not charge any additional fees for gluten free and they were so flexible. I would recommend gigis to any bride, with and without food sensitivity and allergies!

As a birthday present, I got one of their special cupcakes. I must be careful what I eat (sweet, cream and fried food) because of my tendency to develop acne. The cupcake looked so good, I couldn't resist it. I eat the whole thing. Not an acne response. The frost and the cake were excellent. You just won a new customer. Unfortunately, Gigis Cupcakes has closed at this point 4/10/2018.

These are the most amazing cupcakes I've ever had! My boss surprised with a few boxes at work on my birthday and I couldn't over how incredibly delish they were. So moist and fresh. In addition, the presentation is fabulous! This will definitely be the new stop for all our birthdays anniversary, etc.

Needed a vegan cup cake (my daughter is allergic to cows milk, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, soy and eggs) for her to go to a birthday party last min. Didn't want her to feel left out. They actually had some and these cup cakes were amazing. You can't even tell the difference between the cup cakes. Will be coming back!!! Only down fall is they need to have vegan cup cakes more in stock vs a special order.
