Fantastic table service all night. Great deals available on menu, all dishes were tasty filling. Was able to take all left overs home on takeaway Containers to use for work lunch tomorrow.
Returned to this restaurant tonight after about 2 years. We remember that the food was quite good but the service was very slow with takeaway orders taking proirity.<br/ <br/ We were very pleased to see the service had significantly improved and was efficient and the courses served timely.<br/ <br/ The food was excellent we had the Onion Bahji and the Chesse Pakoras both were excellent. The prawn korma was excellent and the serving was a good size. The fish korma was exceptional. The taste was brilliant, the fish and sauce both of a high standard and the portion size was very good. The rice was nice as was the chilli chesse naan.<br/ <br/ We will definitely be back.
Good discovery for Golden Grove area. We ventured into Golden Grove recently looking for somewhere to buy dinner and come across Indian Brasserie. Since we were there, we figured we might as well eat in.<br/ <br/ 15 20 years ago, Indian restaurants were not all that common in Adelaide, although we had (and still have a few real top notch ones. Nowadays, of course, Indian restaurants are almost as common as the corner BBQ chicken shop, and many of them are 'only just ' in terms of how yummy the food is.<br/ <br/ Expecting Indian Brasserie to be pretty much a stock standard 'corner Indian takeaway ', I must admit we were pleasantly surprised. The ingredients were of good quality and the curries tasty. We asked for our curries to be 'medium ' which they actually WERE (a nice change often when you ask for medium in some restaurants, you can 't taste much spiciness at all. <br/ <br/ I had the shahi paneer and my partner ordered the chicken kadai. For such reasonably priced meals, they were really quite tasty. And there were actually a reasonable number of pieces of paneer in my dish I find many places 'cheap out ' by giving you all sauce and not much paneer (they probably do the same with the amount of meat in the meat based curries, I imagine . It 's always pleasant when you don 't have to play 'find the cubes of paneer '.<br/ <br/ Best of all, they were good sized serves. I brought half of mine home in a container!<br/ <br/ The decor was also richly colourful with the chairs covered in reddish fabrics with the back rests swathed in gold, if you 're into that sort of thing. They also have a kid 's menu.<br/ <br/ Have since returned on another two occasions.
Omg so delicious. Vibrant colours and smooth creamy textures! I highly recommend the butter chicken and lamb korma. Also try the garlic naan and gulab jamun!
