Tokyo Joe's - Golden

I've been coming here since 2004, and it's still the best location for Tokyo Joe's. They always generously provide sauce—never stingy at all. The chefs here are fantastic. I usually order the chicken curry bowl, and it’s absolutely amazing. I always ask for extra meat, and once again, they never skimp on it. They’re just incredible!

Revised November 2019: Andrew and the team are fantastic here! I had an issue once, but he handled it like an excellent manager should. He addressed the situation and impressed me with his professionalism. This is my go-to spot for solo dinners. The food is clean and healthy, and the staff always greets you with a friendly smile. I've been a fan since January 2018—two years and counting!

I'm always searching for quick meals that aren't greasy and not only taste great but also make me feel good about what I'm putting into my body. Tokyo Joe's consistently delivers on time, and their food is delicious. While I'm not a big fan of the sushi, as it can sometimes taste a bit "old" or "stale," I really enjoy the option to build my own bowl and customize my plate just the way I like it.

The bowls here are fantastic! You can customize your own with ramen and salmon, and the flavors are incredible. I really wish we had a place like this back home!

We were traveling west on Interstate 80 and were looking for a quick, healthy meal before heading into the mountains. We stumbled upon this hidden gem! It has easy access from the interstate, plenty of parking (though it shares a lot with a movie theater, so availability may vary), quick and friendly service, tasty food, and a variety of interesting iced teas!
