Pangea Coffee Roasters - Golden

I visited PCR for the first time, largely drawn in by its welcoming name and impressive ratings. It certainly lived up to the hype. I ordered a simple brewed coffee (Java) which was absolutely perfect, and I loved soaking up the sunshine along the side of the building. It’s a fantastic spot!

I stopped here on my way from Black Hawk to Colorado Springs to grab a coffee. The honey latte I ordered was extremely hot—just how I like it! They did an excellent job accommodating my request. It was also delicious, not overly sweet, which was perfect! The café is located in a charming historic neighborhood. I would definitely visit again if I'm in the area.

While camping in Golden, we stumbled upon this gem while searching for non-chain coffee and breakfast options. We were truly impressed by the friendly service, diverse menu, and affordable prices! The breakfast burritos were incredible, and the mocha frappes were among the best we've ever tasted. We loved it so much that we returned the next day before leaving town!

I've been visiting this place for years, and it’s my go-to spot for cappuccino in Golden. They consistently get it just right. Both their iced and hot mochas are fantastic as well. In the summer, their sports tea is refreshing after a run. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and always remember their customers. I love their business model with ready-to-eat Bonfire burritos (the veggie option is delicious) and pastries, making service quick and efficient. I also purchase their freshly roasted coffee beans—yes, they roast them on-site! I buy Colombian and Brazilian whole beans each month to enjoy the same delicious cappuccinos at home using my Gaggia Classic Pro machine. They have a lovely outdoor seating area and are just a block or two from Washington Ave.

This is our favorite local coffee roaster, and it’s where we buy our whole beans for home. Our top picks are the Guatemalan and Ethiopian light roasts. While there’s no indoor seating—just a drive-up window—there are outdoor tables where you can sit and enjoy the view of Table Mountain, since they also serve brewed coffee there.
