The Ducks Nuts - Gold Coast

The Merlo coffee here is fantastic—almost perfect, in fact. The café is a cozy little spot with simple decor where you can just about fit into the benches. They also serve delicious, hearty food in generous portions.

We had a wonderful meal at The Duck's Nuts. The food is more comforting than upscale or gourmet, but the flavors are authentic and the portion sizes are quite generous. The staff was friendly, and while the front of the restaurant is small, it has a relaxing and laid-back atmosphere.

This restaurant is a dependable spot for a 'creative' breakfast made with the freshest ingredients, though the dining experience is quite straightforward. Their extensive takeaway menu features a variety of options including fresh and frozen items like soups, pasta sauces, lasagna, casseroles, curries, as well as desserts, fresh salads, and wraps from the display case.

This place has lost its charm over the years and quite expensive. Not sure how they justify $6 for a medium cappuccino.

Coffee was watery and tasted burnt, I often really like the merlo beans but not this one. Nice that they put a mini muffin of some sort on top or your coffee but don’t ask first and I have allergies which made me take the lid off to drink. Anyway wouldn’t recommend
