Being a regular visitor to Vietnam i have a fair Idea of whats good and what is not. When going to a new Vietnamese restaurant the best way is to order the Pho (pronounced Fur) for a good indication of what would come next.In this case the Pho let them down badly. The broth was luke warm at best which means the rest of the stuff will be tough and raw. I will try it again and firstly will enquire to the heat of the broth.
I have been there many times since it was called Saigon but it has gone down the drain terribly since. The prices are outrageous and portions are smaller than ever. I am Asian and I know my Asian food well but this place is not genuinely Asian leave alone Vietnamese - only in name. Tonight four couples came after us and were all served first. The excuse was that our service came from another kitchen. We ordered simple noodles. The waitresses are nice enough and they do try hard to please but the kitchen and management let the business down. Never again.
Lovely food. Huge menu. Great staff. We had lunch there and enjoyed the experience including the air conditioning on a hot day. My only negative is that it is not wheelchair friendly - hard to get into and no accessible toilet.
This place used to good as we got take away usually. But no more.Dont know how we decided to dine in, for the last time. The waittes can't even try to be nice.Had the grill pork and PHO, was even under average.Would not be back for a short time
After living in southport for 3 years traveling all over the coast to eat, we finally decided to eat in our own backyard. Im in hope that this place hasn't set the bar for dining in our area. We were first in and last to be served. Was not the most amazing food in flavour and something you could put together at home. Staff were not that friendly, and had to wait to get someones attention to get a lemonade after 1/2 hour of trying. In saying this I always like to try things more then once, so hopefully next time will be different.
