I chose the menu that included a variety of seafood including tonnase bug, and just like the cook I was told there is no mistake to replace it with shrimp. I got no time to rethink my selection, and honestly, if they had no mistake, they would have had to advise this before our order. Also very disappointing that such a restaurant did not stand all the necessary ingredients for Valentine's Day. If I had told you about the thing before the front, I would have ordered the lobster/wagyu. Double of one ingredient was too much and the experience
Great food, but terrible noise with loud music and overcrows with too many tables. Aim for families with continued snippets of “Sweet Caroline” is played a lot. Was on the market when it was Benihana. Chefs don't cook the main focus, as he can't hear... with so much ambient noise. We can't hear your friends either. Sizzler and the brother-in-law meet teppenyaki!
This was my first time at the restaurant, i was accompanied by my friend Maria who suggested the experience to me, the atmosphere was calming and comfortable, the food was tasty and the show of the live cooking in front of us at the table...was amazing the chef was skilled and good at keeping us entertained we ordered the Teppanyaki grills, it was full of different variety of cooked and raw foods that just blended in an amazing way the cost for that meal plus entertainment would cost about $24. The service was fair I would say they chef took time as he prepared though after the show started he was amazing at it, he started with a flames show and began on our meals serving each of us at the same time and with quick finesse, my friend and I enjoyed the meals and loved the scenery we suggest that you try the teppanyaki meal course each has different foods that blend well in one eating, the place was clean and most of all comfortable the restaurant has kind service workers who greet you with a smile as you walk in and accommodate your needs from start to end. lovely restaurant I'm sure I will be back with even more friends.
This was our first time experiencing teppanyaki it was really interesting. The atmosphere is pretty intense exciting. The food was yum a lot of fun. Unfortunately most of us had a big day were pretty exhausted, so I apologise to chef...Bryan for not being as enthusiastic as we should have been! I will mention that each guest must purchase a banquet, which are a minimum of $49 or $30 for under 12s. We did not realise this, as we had a fussy teenager that was more there for appearances. We did however understand that the concept is meal a show, to cover their costs. Table cost must be covered as one, we went as a group therefore 1 person had to cover the whole $800 table cost, which I felt was a little outdated. Also felt table service for drinks was a little slow. Beautiful experience, at a beautiful location with extremely friendly staff. I am not sure if it is a Misono standard for each table to have a 'birthday ', as almost everyone was singing HB. But I did appreciate it, as it was my birthday the next day made me feel very special. The prawn dishes were so yum enjoyed the sushi, I appreciate the staff rubber banding my chopsticks together so I could still participate in the authentic experience. Bryan is very entertaining extremely talented, loads of fun.
We love this restaurant. Really fresh and delicious food. Beautiful hotel too so if you'd like to make a weekend of it why not stay a night. The teppanyaki is the best on the Gold Coast. We will continue to go back.
