Boonchu Thai Food - Gold Coast

This restaurant is an institution and one of the best Thai Restaurant at the Gold Coast. Have been visiting since 2005 and the food quality has been exceptional ever since. The owner himself is very easy going and looks after his customer well. Highly recommend the meat combination Tom Yum soup and the chicken satay!

Been coming here for over 30 years ever since they were up in Surfers Paradise. The food is fresh and fast.I like the Chilie Basil. Or 3 satay with rice and peanut sauce. The only thing, the price is creeping up and so they need to increase the portion size, this was 18.50, you can get cheaper around but not to worry I will be back.

Had a little gander here last night and we weren't disappointed, the staff are a good laugh, food is good but if your a silly white boy who thinks you can handle spicy, you can't. It'll burn ya. It'll burn you for days, but was still worth it. Food was a tad pricey but was worth it. The only negative was the squid, a bit old so had a different taste but nobody got sick so we're all winners here. Byo for 2pp which is unheard of.

We came here after a day at the races. eating is always really fresh and worth a lot for money. the venue is very well maintained, it has been around for years. great position in the middle of the wide side. they can also get their own drinks. lots of space for a group or family too. highly recommended.
