The restaurant allows you to bring your own wine, so we picked some up from a nearby store. We started with shared spring rolls and then for our main dishes, two of us ordered curries, one had a Thai beef salad, and I had a Chicken Pad Thai. Having lived in Thailand, I can say that this was the most generous portion of Pad Thai I have ever had, and it was also delicious. One of my friends kindly picked up the bill and I was surprised to see that it was less than 70 dollars for all four of us, making it excellent value. Usually, they have a singer performing on Thursdays, but unfortunately, he was not there this week. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant!
I went to this restaurant with a friend tonight. It was empty when we arrived but full by the time we left. The menu is small and modern, cooked by the Thai owner chef. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. They do not have a liquor license, but a Chinese couple sitting next to us brought a bottle of red wine and the restaurant provided nice wine glasses. They also have an espresso machine and serve a fantastic blend of coffee. My Thai friend said the Pad Thai was as good as you can get on the streets of Bangkok. The staff were helpful and friendly. We left feeling very full for under $40 for the two of us. The food was excellent and we will definitely be returning. It is without a doubt the best Thai restaurant in Southport. If you're looking for a nice modern meal, a great coffee, or just a good experience, Blue Moon is the place to go. I will definitely be back.
We discovered that place casually and we have found that really good. The dishes was really complete and good tasting. Prices were ok
My girlfriend and I came across this SMALL Thai Café a few days ago and were rewarded with some delicious food. It's tucked away in Davenport Street,Southport.Althou small and only 1 chef, they were busy pumping out some tasty, yummy food.I had the Pad Thai which was very Moorish, decent size portion as well..Nice atmosphere, the young waitress was lovely also.Definitely making it a weekly treat :)they also do Take Away. Special Lunch Deal was $12. Choice of 4 Meals with a drink.Great Value for money. They were only open for Lunch 3-4 days a week. Also do Dinners 5 days a week approx. Not a breakfast/Brunch place thou
