Wife and I stop by this place and split the Porterhouse on New Years Eve. I was thinking it was not difficult to cook a decent steak and not too many places around the area, let's try it. Big mistake. Is it possible to get Covid from food? I know I'll be sick tomorrow, just wanting to know how sick. None of the waiting staff, bar staff or kitchen staff were wearing masks properly. All of them either didn't have a mask or kept it under their chins the entire times. The place is a total dive and should just shut down. Dirty and gross. I'm sure breakfast is probably their bread and butter, but when you call ur self a Steak and Spirits place, I didn't know they meant they will try to kill u with the food. Stay away, spend the money at safer places down the road.
Excellent breakfast place with large plate size and welcoming staff. Chicken fried steak was awesome before a long day.
Went In with a group of 8-9 people. They were not very busy. they brought out our food for our table in waves every 15 minutes. Of course I was last and it was about 45 minutes from when the first people at our table got our food to when i did. The other table of people that came in after us all got there food before me and I could not get a drink while I was waiting to save my life either.By the time my food came out she asked if I wanted a drink but by then I made my mind up this place wasn 't going to get any more of my money. Food was good when it finally came out but by then I was in too bad of a mood to even enjoy it. Makes me upset when people at your table are able to finish eating before you get your food even. Server was also rude when I Inquired about my food. Saying she can 't make him cook any faster .
Not sure how this place can put 'family friendly ' on their sign when they yell at parents in front of their children. We have a toddler with food allergies, and asked if the waitress could check if the bread contained egg so we could possibly order a grilled cheese. We have never encountered an issue asking questions whenever we go out to eat at any restaurant, and understand it is not their responsibility to keep our child safe. She seemed more than happy to do so, until she returned from the kitchen. When she returned, she rudely started lecturing us very loudly about how busy they were and that the cook had too many orders in front of us to take the time to check. My husband offered to check the ingredients himself and was yelled at. Other tables began staring, our daughter started crying, and we left. The owner happened to be in the parking lot when another table that also walked out with us was saying how terrible the service was. He asked what happened, and when we told him, all he said was yup, sounds like they 're too busy. 1 star is the lowest option, otherwise I would have given 0.
