Lüderenalp - Gohl

Honestly, we booked this place since we did not find anything else. It turned out to be a great experience at a beautiful site. First, the ride up to the hotel is spectacular, especially by bike. It is located an a mountain pass, so you can go up from one side and down the other, both rides are awesome. Hotel: From the outside, the hotel looks shabby. The inside is quite different, since it is being newly refurnished. Our room was decorated in a sober, simple way, but very stylish and thoughtfully pleasing, actually nicer than many other hotel rooms I 've seen in classier hotels. Great views from the room and balcony. Service was warm and welcoming. Restaurant: The menu of this simple restaurant is fairly limited. The selection is not intended for gourmets. However, the food we got was tasty and nice. Service was lovely, helpful, forthcoming, almost family-like. We truly loved it. (We guessed that service may be somewhat challenged when the place is packed with tourists. The owner sings and plays some blues on his guitar and he does it well. Overall ambience: Although it was a hazy day, and the mountain range was not even visible, this stay was a wonderful surprise on our road-trip. The welcoming friendliness of the owner and staff stands in beautiful contrast to the cool professionalism we often meet in classier places. The garden, the view, and the mood of the place was that of happy, grateful people at the end of a day of work. This place does not aspire to be playing among the top class, but if one accepts that, one finds one of those rare places that are beautiful on second sight, and just feel plain good.

Stop by the sight but don't waste your money here. taken a cup of local blueberries, totally insipid. a Coca-Cola with a strange taste, diluted. and a low-level industrial ice cream. absolutely not to the height of the place or the prices. We didn't like it. We're not coming back. in emmental we found really excellent restaurants, this unfortunately is not one of them. I would add that the toilets have the same smell as the baths on the highway.

The view is a dream beautifully overlooking the emmental. the staff is unfortunately quite unfriendly the younger colleague then tried to bridge the bad laune from the colleague. the eating was correct but without love to call if the intention were not we would guess of a stop.

Eating is okay, no more. the service is effortless, the prices are too high for the offered. You don't have to come here.

We were with our children and friends to eat on the lüderenalp. unregistered we got a table in the arni. the food was very delicious. despite long waiting time and many guests, our service sandra remained very friendly and professional. our children got paintings and globi paintings to please them the waiting time. also at the other tables the enthusiasm by the service sandra was very high, as she took care of the guests and held them by conversation and wet at laune. a really successful Mother's Day.
